Control the media flow with the MagnaValve®!

MAGNAVALVE® – FERROUS MEDIA

Principle of the flow controller: Magnavalve® – Ferrous Media

The MagnaValve® flow controller uses a magnetic system to control the media flow. This helps to prevent the premature wear of the equipment. Moreover, the MagnaValve® automatically stops the projection of media in case of power failure, which ensures the quality of the shot peening process.

Using the MagnaValve® flow controller, achieve a constant media projection rate for more reliable and repeatable surface treatments. Its recording program means it is possible to memorise your specific data for your next applications.

Download our brochure the Magnavalve® for ferrous medias or non-ferrous medias.

The advantages of the Magnavalve® Flow Controller

  • Eliminates maintenance costs: no media impact in the controller = no wear
  • Savings via the efficient use of media and reduced storage
  • Programmable control options to suit your application
  • Eliminates the malfunction risk due to a lack of media during the peening operation
  • Guarantees smooth peening/sanding application
  • Reduces labour time
  • Available for different power supplies: 24 VDC and 120 VAC
  • An environmentally conscious approach: reduced consumption of energy and media
  • Proven technology – for 30 years

MAGNAVALVE® 700-24 – NON-FERROUS MEDIA

Principle of the – Magnavale® – Non-ferrous media flow controller

The Model 700-24 users an electromagnetically controlled valve for media flow control. When energised, an electromagnet opens the valve to allow the media to flow through the valve. After the passage of the piston, the media falls on a blade, causing it to bend proportionally to the media flow, thus providing a precise electrical signal also proportional to the flow. When the MagnaValve® is turned off, the valve returns to its closed position and stops the media flow.

The new MagnaValve® 700-24 has the same features as the rest of the MagnaValve® family:

  • Easy to use and maintain thanks to its unique design
  • Accurate repeatable flow
  • Identical interface to other MagnaValve® machines
  • Reduction of energy and media consumption
  • Tested in the laboratory and proven in the field by many American manufacturers.

The main difference lies in the media itself: the new valve is suitable for peening operations using ceramic, glass and plastic media on compressed air machines.
